Greeny goodness

I've not taken the pics yet, but we've got a few flowers on the tomato plants. The peppers are also budding a little, though those guys are a lot less grown (as I saw last year with the same plants). Herbs look OK, going pretty well and everything else is coming along nicely.

I decided on taking a new look to the blog using a different template, so here it is - all nice and green-like. I figured it fit the bill of a gardening-based blog :D

Photos to come..!

Next update and new additions!

Firsty, it seems time slips away faster than I had thought! It's been almost two weeks since my last post... oops.

Anyway, I've fitted the cages to the tomato plants now, as they're starting to get nice and big now. We bought three herb plants (Parsley, Lemon Basil and Oregano) so they've been planted - only been in for a day or two, so it's hard to say how they're getting on just yet.

Oh, and no... I didn't get a cucumber plant replacement yet - and now it's nearing the end of June I'm wondering if it's even worth it :/

Anyways, on with the pics - I took shots of the full plot again, and one particular focus on the new herb plants.

Finally! An update!

Hey hey hey,

Well I have finally got around to taking the next set of pictures, as are attached. Note the empty area that's been dug up - I had dumped out my failed seed pots in there and turned it into the rest of it with the pitch fork. Also, the cucumber did actually die - turns out I may've contributed with my over-eager feedings of Miracle-Gro in the first week... oops. I turned the plant into the rest of the soil about 4 or so days ago.. I left the tab in memoriam (a tombstone, if you will). Replacements aren't out of reach, and so I will likely pick some more plants, including some herbs, spices, etc. more peppers and definitely another cucumber plant. Hopefully I can get that sorted out in the next 2-3 weeks.

Anyway, I've not much else to say- things seem to be going really well, I'll soon be needing to put on the cages for the tomato plants... they're coming on strong, which is awesome. Today was another kickass day in terms of hot hot sun, in fact I have a bit of truckers sunburn due to sitting on a patio at lunch!

On with the pics:
